Recently, actress Nidhhi Agerwal faced a bitter experience at the Lulu Mall in Hyderabad when the fans mobbed her during the launch of the “Sahana” song from her upcoming film, The Raja Saab. The visuals of this incident were indeed scary, where fans literally rushed onto her, making it extremely difficult for the security personnel to safeguard the actress to her vehicle.
Netizens lashed out at fans for the lack of civic sense and urged organisers to take necessary precautions at similar events in the future to avoid any unfortunate incidents. Meanwhile, the police department has reached out to Nidhhi, saying that they would register a case on perpetrators if she files a complaint. However, the actress reportedly refused to file any complaint.
Despite facing such inconvenience at the event, Nidhhi chose not to file a complaint, surprising many. She might have decided not to file a case, as she might not have wanted to take this any further. But people on social media opined that if she filed the complaint, it would have been a lesson to the culprits who create ruckus at events wearing the masks of fans.
Not only Nidhhi, but many other heroines and other celebrities have faced such uncomfortable incidents in the past. People, in the name of fans, try to mob celebrities and touch them inappropriately at public events, which is a crime. They should either learn civic sense or they should be punished for their heinous offence of making celebrities uncomfortable with their actions.
