Massive: HYDRAA Reclaims 3,000 Cr Worth Land In 1 Day!

One of the prestigious and ambitious projects set in motion by the Revanth Reddy government in Telangana is the HYDRAA project which is intended to reclaim government lands from private entities. 

In this connection, HYDRAA has done something remarkable as they’ve reclaimed 15 acres of land in Hyderabad, valued at Rs 3000 crore in a single day. 

Reportedly, HYDRAA reclaimed 15 acres of government land in Survey No. 44 at Maktha Mahaboobpet, Miyapur, Serilingampally mandal. Its value is estimated to be around Rs. 3,000 crore.

Based on previous complaints received by HYDRAA regarding encroachments on government land in the same Survey No.44, encroachments on 5 acres were removed on December 8, in last year.

Recently, on Saturday, they reclaimed another 15 acres in the same Survey No.44. The encroachers had marked the boundaries with temporary sheets, which HYDRAA removed and then fenced the entire area. 

Following reports of illegal registrations of government land in Survey Number 44, and the related suspension of the concerned Sub-Registrar, HYDRAA conducted a field inspection with officials from the relevant departments which confirmed the encroachments. 

Following the orders of the HYDRAA Commissioner, AV Ranganath, encroachments on 15 acres of land were removed on Saturday, and fencing was erected by HYDRAA. Subsequently, the HYDRAA was able to reclaim a massive Rs 1500 crore worth land in Hyderabad which is a substantial feat.
