Dashing director Puri Jagannadh is directing versatile star Vijay Sethupathi in a pan-India film. Samyuktha plays the leading lady opposite Vijay Sethupathi in the film, which is produced jointly by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur of Puri Connects, along with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla of JB Mohan Pictures.
On the occasion of Vijay Sethupathi’s birthday, the makers unveiled first look of the film titled intriguingly Slum Dog, with tagline 33 Temple Road. Vijay Sethupathi in a ruthless avatar, playing a beggar, as his dressing suggests. He wears tattered, and layered clothing, holding a large, blood-stained meat cleaver.
The setting appears to be an industrial godown. The floor is littered with currency notes and wooden crates, suggesting a plot involving massive amounts of money. Known for his knack for presenting his leads in atypical shades, Puri evidently penned a distinctive role for Vijay Sethupathi.
Tabu and Duniya Vijay also appear in crucial roles in the movie being mounted at Pan India level.
