India Sends Help When Its Neighbours Need It Most

India has once again shown that it stands with its neighbours during difficult times. As severe floods affect parts of Nepal, India has moved quickly to provide relief and medical support to people affected by the disaster.

India sent 10 tonnes of relief and medical supplies to Nepal to support the flood affected people. Rescue and evacuation teams have also been kept ready to respond quickly if the situation demands further assistance.

The move highlights India’s role as a first responder in the region. Instead of limiting support to messages of sympathy, India has taken action by sending essential supplies and keeping rescue resources ready.
