Indian Army Aviation pilots carried out a high-risk casualty evacuation at 18,600 feet near the Nun Kun massif. Facing strong winds, steep terrain and no conventional landing space, the pilots balanced the helicopter on one skid to rescue the casualty. The mission was completed safely before daylight faded.
