Her rom-com “HI” with Kavin, which was released last month, is winning hearts for its fresh attempt despite some mixed reactions, with fans calling her comic timing and screen presence a delight, a sharp contrast to the mixed-to-negative buzz around her big-ticket Toxic, which got trolled but still saw Nayanthara’s own character singled out for praise.
