Religious conversions are considered to be unethical and illegal when they are done by force. Many times, people in positions of authority or power try to influence others, brainwash them, and forcibly try to convert them to their religion. Now, there’s a controversy brewing in the South Film Industry, in the music space, where a notable film composer is facing allegations of forcing female singers to change their religion.
Tamil singer Swagatha S Krishnan posted an Instagram story alleging the wrongdoings of a particular music composer. A few months back, she also alleged that the music composer is a serial sexual abuser and is waiting for the right time when more singers come out and expose the person in question.
As per our highly placed sources, the music composer has done a few films in Telugu but has his work visible more in Tamil and Malayalam. However, his work has reached a wide range of audiences, and he has worked on one of the biggest pan-Indian films in recent times. This is not the first time the composer has faced controversies like this, and he has been part of other controversies in the past.
Many big directors prefer to work with him, which keeps him busy and gives him authority. Insiders say the music director could face serious trouble if more singers step out and speak up.
