Thalapathy Vijay Slowly Expanding Beyond Tamil Nadu?

Tamil Nadu has found a solid chief minister in the form of Thalapathy Vijay, who was recently able to reinstate his position by winning both the by election for his TVK. Now he appears to be on the mission of expanding his reach beyond Tamil Nadu.

Considering his cinema background and superstardom that he had enjoyed, Vijay is a very popular face in all the South Indian states. He appears to be utilising this finally to a large capacity.

Earlier, Vijay had visited Andhra Pradesh as he took part in the Dussehra celebrations at the famous Vijayawada KanakaDurga Temple. He maintained a strong presence here and was received very well by the crowd.

It was in fact, surprising to see such a huge turnout for Vijay here in Vijayawada as it opened up a completely new prospect for this Tamil Nadu chief minister. This happened to be his first official visit to Andhra and it was a success.

Now the stage is being prepared for another neighbouring state visit of Thalapathy Vijay, as he is set to arrive in Thrissur of Kerala tomorrow. Coincidentally, he will be partaking in the Dasara celebrations here again.

It appears that the auspicious Dasara season has provided Vijay with the perfect opportunity of visiting the neighbouring states and expanding his image. It is big public appearances and constant connection with the public that can enhance his political image beyond Tamil Nadu, and that is precisely what he is doing now.

It should be a matter of time before Vijay visits, Karnataka as well, and this would essentially mean that he would be covering all the major South Indian states correspondingly. He has always been a smooth and clever operator and this is on good display again now.
