Is Renu Desai Never Going to Get Out of THIS Issue?

Celebrities’ lives are not so easy when it comes to relationships. Sometimes, even after their relationship ends, people continue to connect a person with their former partner. Actress Renu Desai seems to be facing a similar situation even after 14 years of her divorce from actor Pawan Kalyan.

Renu Desai recently opened up about this issue during a podcast conversation. She expressed her disappointment over how people continue to discuss her past relationship instead of recognising her as an individual.

Renu and Pawan Kalyan got divorced in 2012. However, even after so many years, a section of social media users still identifies her mainly as Pawan Kalyan’s ex-wife. Speaking about this, Renu made an emotional statement by comparing her situation with Lord Ram’s exile.

“It’s been 14 years. Even Lord Ram was in exile, but for only 14 years. When will my exile end?” she questioned.

She also explained how some people behave as if her life began only after she entered the Telugu film industry with the movie Badri in 1999. “For Telugu people, here’s something about my life. I was born only in June 1999, when I came for Badri. Before that, I didn’t really have a life. That’s how people do it,” We divorced back in 2012, right? After 2012, I produced a Marathi movie that was a super hit. Then I wrote, produced, and directed another movie. I did a dance show, wrote poetry, now I’m doing films. If I’m nobody, why would anyone call me?”

What makes the situation more upsetting is that she reportedly faces criticism even for her animal welfare activities.

Now with her interview trending in social media, many of her well wishers are questioning that why should every decision she makes be connected to her past relationship. People may have different opinions about celebrities, but there should also be a limit to personal comments.

This is not the first time Renu Desai has expressed her frustration over this issue. She has addressed it several times in the past, yet the situation seems unchanged. So we have to wait and see will her latest words finally make people think twice before commenting on her personal life
