Rana, Deva Katta, Krish & others to entertain on Sony LIV

Popular streaming platform SonyLIV has unveiled an exciting slate for 2024, showcasing its commitment to diverse and compelling content across languages. The platform, renowned for hits like “Rocket Boys” and “Scam 1992,” is set to captivate audiences with a range of offerings. Surprisingly, the platform could not achieve the desired viewership from Telugu audiences, and hence, it has now announced some prestigious projects.

A historical action-drama series, “Lords of the Deccan,” in collaboration with Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media, is brewing. Adapted from Anrirudh Kanisetti’s bestseller, the show delves into the rich history of Southern India, spanning from the Chalukyas to the Cholas.

Trisha Krishnan is marking her debut on Sony LIV OTT with her female-oriented web series “Brinda,” intricately weaving in the folklore of Andhra Pradesh.

Led by Krish Jagarlamudi, the popular play ‘Kanyasulkam’ is being brought to the screen. It play promises a profound exploration of historical and societal themes.

The corporate drama “Bench” is helmed by the dynamic showrunner-director duo Manasa Sharma and Mahesh Uppala.

A political drama crafted by showrunner-director Deva Katta, titled “Indraprastha,” is also in the offing.

Apart from these, unscripted show, Master Chef Telugu season 2 is also scheduled for the new year.
