12th Fail Did The Impossible Possible on OTT

Bollywood’s legendary filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s last film “12th Fail” achieved cult status soon after its release. Starring Vikrant Massey as the protagonist, Manoj Kumar Sharma, the film narrates Sharma’s inspiring journey from being a “12th fail” to becoming an IPS officer. Now, the film did the impossible possible on the OTT.

The successful film has been watched by a huge number of audiences on OTT. It garnered the highest viewership in just three days and beat all existing films on the platform in the year 2023. Within just three days of its release on Disney+ Hotstar, “12th Fail” became the most-watched film of 2023 on the platform.

Despite limited promotion during its theatrical release, the movie found immense success at the Box Office, earning ₹66.5 crore worldwide in its 52 days of screening on around 600 screens.

The film was released on Disney+ Hotstar on December 29.
