Netflix India is showing aggression in bagging the digital rights of some interesting projects from Telugu. On the occasion of Sankranthi, the team at Netflix announced a lineup of releases on the platform, which includes so many anticipated projects. All of them will stream, post-theatrical release only.
The lineup includes the highly awaited film “Devara,” featuring Jr NTR and directed by Koratala Siva. Next comes the much-awaited NBK109, in the direction of Bobby.
Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical digital rights for the multi-lingual movie “Teddy,” starring Allu Sirish. Vishwak Sen’s upcoming release, “Gangs of Godavari,” is also part of the upcoming slate on Netflix.
The streaming platform’s future releases include an untitled project by Karthikeya Gummanakonda in collaboration with UV Creations. The streaming giant also confirmed grabbing the rights of an untitled film from Geetha Arts with Narne Nithiin.
