Two Telangana students who are pursuing their master’s in computer science at Southern Illinois University (SIU) in Carbondale were killed in a road accident in the US.
Vamshi Krishna Pechetty of Bachupally and his friend Pavan Swarna of Khammam were traveling in a car that collided with another car on Illinois Route 3 in Union County on April 21.
Both the Telangana students are 23 years old and lost their lives in this road crash. Three other students of the same SI university who were with these two guys were injured in the incident.
On the other hand, a 32-year-old Missouri woman named Marie A Meunier who was driving the other car was also killed in this accident.
As per the reports, the bodies of Vamshi and Pavan will be sent to their families who are in Hyderabad on this Monday.
