US: One Dead, Nine Injured In Kansas City Shooting At Chiefs’ Super Bowl Win Parade

One person died and nine others were injured from a shooting in Kansas City, Missouri. Two armed men were taken into custody.

The gunfire erupted near Union Station during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade. Thousands of fans gathered to welcome the champions after their second successive victory in Las Vegas.

Three victims are said to be in critical condition, five are in serious condition and one has life-threatening injuries.

About 1 million paradegoers and 600 law enforcement officials were expected at Wednesday’s celebration. More details are awaited.
