A tragic fire incident in a Manhattan residential building claimed the life of 27-year-old Indian journalist Fazil Khan, who worked for The Hechinger Report.
The fire, caused by a lithium-ion battery, occurred in Harlem, leaving Khan dead and 17 others injured.
The Consulate General of India in New York is extending support to repatriate Khan’s remains to his family in India, while investigations continue into the cause of the devastating blaze.
