Telangana NRI Dies In USA!

A tragic incident occurred in Florida’s Key West, claiming the life of Venkataramana Pittala, a 27-year-old student from Telangana, India. Pittala, pursuing a Master’s Degree at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), lost his life in a jet ski collision on March 9.

The collision, which involved two jet skis, occurred near a waterpark. Pittala’s untimely demise has left his family and friends in shock, prompting efforts to raise funds to repatriate his mortal remains back to Telangana for final rites.

Reports from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission indicate that a 14-year-old boy was operating one of the jet skis involved in the accident.

While no arrests have been mentioned, the Commission stated that the boy escaped injury in the collision. The incident serves as a sobering reminder of the risks associated with water sports and the importance of safety measures to prevent such tragedies.
