United States of America President Donald Trump publicly mocked Pope Francis’ death. He posted an AI image of himself, dressed in papal attire. As this comes, days after his humorous remark that he would ‘like to be Pope,’ the photo garnered huge attention on social media.

As soon as the photo appeared online, several netizens criticized it as insensitive of Trump, while a few accused him of mocking Pope Francis’ death.

Pope Francis died last month, and the 88-year-old suffered a stroke and heart failure. Many leaders across the world attended the Pope’s funeral. In the recent times, Trumo was asked by a reporter on who he would like to succeed Pope Francis.

The 78-year-old immediately quipped: “I’d like to be Pope. That would be my number one choice.”
