Telugu Man Commits Suicide In US Prison

A Telugu man named Kurremula Saikumar (31), who was serving a 35-year prison sentence, reportedly ended his life in a US prison on July 26. Saikumar hailed from Nellutla village of Lingalaghanapuram Mandal in Janagama district, Telangana.

According to reports, Saikumar was serving a prison sentence for raping three young girls in America. He moved to America ten years ago and was working there and lived with his wife in Edmond City, Oklahoma. He allegedly raped three young girls by posing as a 15-year-old boy. 

Saikumar also posted obscene images of 19 other girls who did not consent to sexual relationships with him on social media and allegedly blackmailed them. The victims complained to the police, and FBI officials booked Saikumar in October 2023 and began an investigation. 

During the probe, the FBI found that Saikumar had sexually assaulted and harassed girls while posing as a boy. On March 27, 2025, he was sentenced by a US court to 35 years in prison. Saikumar reportedly suffered mental anguish and ended his life by hanging himself in prison on July 26. Saikumar’s parents and family members left for America and performed his last rites in the USA.
