The United States immigration policies have been going through radical changes under the leadership of Donald Trump. The latest developments are suggesting that this immigration policy has been taken to a whole new league altogether as United States has frozen visa issuance for 75 countries.
As per the latest communication from Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, the United States is freezing all visa processing for 75 countries globally.
The good thing here is that India is not on the list of countries that are rounded off by the United States. But at the same time, several neighbouring countries, including Nepal, Afghanistan, Pakistan and others are on the list.
Another unexpected thing is that the United States has frozen visa, even for Russia in view of the ongoing conflict between Trump and Putin.
This essentially means that the members of these countries simply cannot enter the United States till further notice.
The full list of countries frozen by the U.S. is as below:
Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Belize, Bhutan, Bosnia, Brazil, Burma, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Colombia, Cote d’Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominica,
