Trump Could Lose $10 Billion BBC Lawsuit If He Refuses To…

United States president, Donald Trump has been facing several legal complications during his time in the office. The volume of the radical decisions that he had been making as the US president are likely to come back to haunt him.

On that note, we have something very drastic development now and it could lead to President Trump getting dismissed regarding his own lawsuit in the court as well.

A federal judge has ordered US President Donald Trump to personally sit for a deposition and testify under oath by December 11 in his $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the BBC. Trump must answer questions from the broadcaster’s lawyers, with the judge warning that failure to comply could lead to sanctions, including the possible dismissal of his lawsuit.

If Trump fails to do so, he could face sanctions, including possible dismissal after he canceled his October 16 deposition citing “matters of national importance” but spent that day campaigning in Georgia.

A sitting United States president filing a lawsuit, claiming defamation against a media publication like BBC and ending up in a position where he will have to sit for deposition is nearly unheard of.

Trump earlier had a problem with a report published by the BBC and he approached the court regarding the defamation lawsuit. But he has not yet testified in this case, nor has he presented any substantial evidence.

The very fact that Trump finds himself in a position where he could be losing a lawsuit filed by himself isn’t suitable for the position of United States president, but sadly, that is how things are.
