The United States is very particular about tax returns and filing as their regulatory department, IRS is always vigilant of fraud activities. But somehow, there are still cases of financial frauds and wrongful filing of the taxation forms.
Now as many as four Indian origin financial services employees have been going guilty in a million dollar financial scam that cost the U.S. government millions of dollars.
The 4 Indian origin individuals in question here are named Subhala Suresh, Matthews Chacko, Anish Pillai, and Mou Kundu.
All four of them operated for different clients but they were named as co conspirators in the court case that was filed. They are proving guilty of filing fake tax returns, and creating false expenses for clients to get additional returns.
They all pleaded guilty in the Dallas court for multiple counts of fraud filings in the tax case and face between 3-5 years in prison. They have reportedly costed the United States government millions of dollars in taxes.
The court sentencing of the jail term and any potential fines is yet to be made and this will determine the fate of these Indian individuals who audaciously looted the US government while staying in that country.
