The frequency of deaths among Indian origin individuals in abroad is at an all time high with tragedies being reported almost every day in recent times. Already, we have informed about numerous unfortunate incidents involving Indians, particularly Telugu NRIs in foreign countries earlier this month.
In what could be another distressing news to the Telugu community, a worker from Andhra Pradesh passed away in Poland due to sudden illness. He is identified as Goketi Prasad Babu of Vishakapatnam district. Aged 45 years, Prasad Babu was working as a welder in Poland from the part few months. On April 4, he fell seriously ill and expired even before getting admitted in hospital.
Prasad Babu belongs to Mahalaxmi Puram village in Bheemunipatnam mandal. He went to Poland last year for livelihood and since working as a welder in a private company.
He is survived by his wife and a son. His death has sent shockwaves to the family and the entire village. Vizag MP Sri Bharat has coordinated with the foreign affairs ministry for bringing back the dead body to Vizag.
The Indian Community Welfare Fund with the assistance of Home Ministry is bearing the expenses for the conveyance. His body is likely to reach Vizag by Monday for completing the funeral rights.
