Gunshot Sounds at Dinner, Trump Rushed Out by Security!

Amid ongoing diplomatic tensions with Iran, US President Donald Trump and his security teams received a big jolt as a suspected firing was reported on Saturday night at the White House during the high-profile Correspondents’ Dinner at the Washington Hilton when several dignitaries including Melina Trump were in attendance.

Multiple gunshots with loud bangs were reportedly heard when Trump and many cabinet members and attendees were busy with the dinner session at the ballroom of the venue.

As soon as the shots were fired outside, Trump and Melina were quickly escorted out by the secret service agents to a safe place. Other attendees ducked under the tables as a precautionary measure without having much idea about what’s happening.

As soon as Trump was evacuated, armed agents from Counter Assault Team took control of the entire ballroom to avoid any potential firing on the guests and sealed the entire area. As panic gripped the hall, several guests slowly left the building one by one in confusion.

Trump, however, remained at the venue without moving out and and quickly recommend the show to continue. But, he was requested to leave the hotel due to security reasons.

Meanwhile, conflicting reports started to emerge that the suspected shooter has been apprehended alive. It is believed that an unidentified individual attempted to pass through the metal detectors with a gun. This is the first security breach at the White House after many years.

Trump is likely to address the press shortly and inform more details about the incident.
