Earlier today, we reported that the United States carried out strategic strikes on several Iranian targets. This could indicate that the existing agreement between the two countries is effectively no longer in force.
Matters are getting far worse now as United States, president Donald Trump has publicly said the agreement with Iran is no longer valid and he had a set of bad words to say about them.
“The memorandum of understanding with Iran is over. I don’t want to deal with Iran when it’s run by sick people. They’re scum, they’re evil, they’re violent. The MOU is dead,” said US President Donald Trump in a public forum today.
The fact that the United States struck down several military locations belonging to Iran, and this is followed by the latest comment from Trump regarding the cancellation of the ceasefire agreement could be signalling a restart of the conflict.
Just when everyone thought the conflict between Iran and the US is complete, and it would no longer be a major issue for global trade, Trump has dropped this bomb now. We have to see what kind of consequences this would have as the resumption of the conflict could deteriorate several countries further.
