USA: Woman Kills 2 Of Her NRI Friends!

A shocking incident in California has left two Kerala families in deep sorrow after two women were killed in Milpitas on August 28. Police have arrested a 32 year old woman who was known to both victims.

The victims were identified as Ann Mary Mathew, 40, from Thiruvananthapuram, and Anjana Hari, 35, from Thrissur. Both women were reportedly living in the same apartment complex.

The incident came to light after police received a hit and run call near the Mill Creek Apartments. Officers found Anjana seriously injured in the parking area. Witnesses said a blue SUV had left the spot after hitting her.

Police later found a vehicle matching the description at a nearby location and arrested its driver. The woman in custody has been identified by the victims’ relatives as Anila, a Kerala native who reportedly knew both women.

Ann Mary was later found dead inside an apartment with stab injuries. Relatives have alleged that Anila was involved in both deaths. However, police are still investigating the case and the exact motive has not been confirmed.

The incident has become even more shocking as the three women had reportedly celebrated Onam together shortly before the tragedy.

Anjana had moved to the US in 2021 and was working as a teacher. She is survived by her husband and six year old daughter. Ann Mary was working as a computer teacher and had two daughters.

Union Minister Suresh Gopi said efforts are underway to bring the bodies back to Kerala. The Indian Consulate in San Francisco is also coordinating with the families.

The investigation is continuing, while the motive behind the deaths remains unclear.
