Australia: Two Telugu Women Killed In Tragic Car Accident

Tragedy has once again struck Telugu community in the form a brutal road accident in Australia, leading to the death of two women from Vishakapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh.

The victims have been identified as the wife and daughter-in-law Neha of GT Prasad, who previously worked as Joint Secretary in VDC. He recently travelled to Australia along with his wife to attend a family function.

The tragedy occurred on Palmers Road when the Toyota carrying the family collided with a Porsche vehicle. Prasad’s wife and his daughter-in-law Neha died on the spot right before his eyes inside the car. He was the lone survivor in the incident and went into deep shock.

The driver of the vehicle suffered severe injuries and was rushed to hospital, while the Porsche driver is helping police with investigation. Victoria Police registered a case and closed Palmers Road. Further investigation has been ordered into the brutal accident.

Telugu NRI associations and local community groups in Melbourne stepped forward quickly to assist the family for sending the mortal remains.
