A man from Tadkol village in Telangana’s Kamareddy district is feared dead in the Russia Ukraine war. His family received the information through an audio message sent by another man who was reportedly stranded with him.
The man has been identified in recent reports as Mohammed Afzal Khan, a resident of Banswada mandal. He reportedly travelled to Russia for employment but later became trapped in the military after being recruited through an agent.
According to the audio message, Afzal Khan died around ten days ago in a drone attack near the Russia Ukraine border. Sirisu Ashok, another man from the erstwhile Nizamabad district, reportedly sent the message to his family describing the incident.
Reports suggest that four men from the region were stranded in Russia after going there for work. Their families have been seeking help to bring them back to India safely.
However, Afzal Khan’s death has not yet been officially confirmed by the authorities or his family. His relatives are reportedly seeking information about his fate and requesting government intervention to help the other stranded men.
