Quite a number of Indians lost their lives due to unexpected tragedies abroad in recent times. In another unfortunate incident, a 24 year old Indian from Texas named Sahil Jilani died after going on a hike last week.
The hapless incident after the victim went on a solo trip to the famous Great Smoky Mountains National Park. After he lost contact with the family, they immediately alerted the authorities who quickly launched a search operation to find his whereabouts.
Search teams started looking for him after finding his car parked near a popular trail area. They soon traced his steps to the Abrams Falls location where he was last seen before going missing in the rugged park territory.
After searching the water area, rescue teams unfortunately found his body submerged near the waterfall. His family later confirmed the heartbreaking news online and shared that he likely got caught in the strong, hidden undercurrents of the pool.
The tragic loss has left the family in deep shock. His mother fell into unconscious state after hearing the terrible news and got admitted into the hospital.
