Trump Plans To Use ‘Mother Of All Bombs’ On Iran

The months long conflict between the USA forces and Iran military is likely to take a more destructive turn after a brief gap as President Donald Trump and his officers are now reportedly planning to use ‘Mother of all Bombs’ against the enemies after the Midterms. 

This comes after repeated failure of peace talks between the two warring sides in the past few months. 

The weapon which is technically called GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast or MOAB is the biggest non nuclear bomb in US military arms. It weighs almost 21,600 pounds and creates a super massive explosion above ground.

The US had used this bomb once before in 2017 against ISIS tunnels in Afghanistan when Trump was president for the first time. 

Military experts say the main purpose of using MOAB bomb is to create big psychological shock to enemies. The massive blast can clear up to nine city blocks and destroy surface military bases or energy sites completely. 

However many defense experts doubt if this bomb will destroy underground facilities in Iran as its nuclear sites are built deep inside hard granite mountains. Because MOAB explodes in air, it may not reach those deep target zones. 

Dropping such a massive bomb could cause heavy retaliation from Tehran side and escalate war further in the region. World leaders are watching closely as tension rise between both sides.
