Here comes supermodel Padma Lakshmi, who lives and works from the USA, proving that 50 is the new 30 as she celebrated her 50th birthday other day. The hottie shared a picture of her, gleaming in the beach in a two-piece bikini where her curvaceous body made many jaws drop.

After enjoying her stint as a supermodel in late 90s and 2000s, Padma tried her hand at acting but failed. Later she became an author and also a chef, and currently hosts a cookery show for USA based channel. Born in Madras, India in 1970 she moved to the USA along with her mother at the age of four.

Padma Lakshmi is famous for her marriage to controversial Indian writer Salman Rushdie who is facing a death fatwa for his writings against Islam and its Prophet.
