Sreeleela finally stepped into Tamil cinema with Parasakthi, but the start has not gone the way many hoped. The film opened to mixed talk, with most reviews pointing at the slow narration as the biggest issue. While the idea and setting had promise, the pacing, especially in the first half, drags things down. Performances, including Sreeleela’s, get a nod, but the screenplay does not quite dig deep enough, leaving the overall experience uneven and a bit tiring. For a debut, it feels like a missed chance.

That said, her new pictures are doing the rounds for all the right reasons. The beachside saree shots have an easy charm to them. Nothing loud, nothing staged. Just Sreeleela in a soft lilac saree, sitting barefoot on the sand, letting the breeze do its thing. Her expressions stay relaxed, sometimes playful, sometimes calm, and that’s what works. The sensuality is subtle, more about mood than pose, and it lingers without trying too hard.
So yes, her Tamil debut may feel like a false start, and 2026 has opened on a low note. But the road ahead is far from dull. With Telugu projects like Ustaad Bhagat Singh alongside Pawan Kalyan and a few Bollywood films lined up, there is still plenty of room for a strong turnaround. All it takes is one right film to change the conversation.
