Khushi Kapoor definitely had a bit of a rough start. Between The Archies getting picked apart by critics and her 2025 releases like Loveyapa and Nadaaniyan not exactly setting the box office on fire, it’s been a trial by fire. But the thing is, she isn’t just packing it in. She’s been pretty open about the “stigma” of being a star kid and the massive shadow her mom, Sridevi, left behind.
Instead of hiding, she’s kind of just leaning into the grind, basically saying that she’s doing this because she loves it, regardless of the noise. It’s a tough spot to be in when everyone’s waiting for you to fail, but she seems to have a “keep your head down and work” mentality that’s actually starting to earn her some respect.

When it comes to the “heroine” look, Khushi isn’t just doing the usual light yoga and calling it a day, she’s actually a beast in the gym. She recently blew everyone’s minds by posting a video of her doing hip thrusts with 290 kilos. Like, that’s professional athlete territory. She balances that heavy lifting with a lot of Pilates for that lean, toned vibe everyone in Bollywood is chasing right now. She’s honest about the vanity of the industry, too; she knows looking a certain way is part of the job description, but she tries not to let the constant public scrutiny get under her skin. She’s clearly figured out that if she’s going to make it, she needs to be physically and mentally prepared for the long haul.

Looking at what’s next, she’s taking a huge swing with Mom 2. It’s a pretty gutsy move considering the original was such a massive moment for her mother, but she’s playing a character named Keerti alongside Karishma Tanna. Production is already moving along as of early 2026, and the buzz is that this role is way more intense than anything she’s done before.
