Alia Bhatt’s back in the news on all fronts. First up, her next big project: she’s officially confirmed for Sohum Shah’s Tumbbad 2, joining Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the much-awaited sequel to the 2018 cult horror hit.

On the fashion front, Alia was spotted looking stunning at bestie Akansha Ranjan Kapoor’s wedding festivities in Mumbai. She wore a deep purple floral silk saree with an off-shoulder statement blouse to the wedding, and later switched to a richly embroidered charcoal-black ensemble with mirror-work embellishments for the reception at JW Marriott.

Meanwhile, her last release Alpha continues its steady theatrical run. The YRF spy actioner has crossed Rs 89.41 crore worldwide after 10 days, closing in on the Rs 100 crore mark despite a slower second week, a decent hold before her Tumbbad 2 buzz takes over.
