Shruti Haasan is back in her comfort colour, and once again she’s proving why black will always be her power shade.
In these new pictures, she’s draped in a strapless mermaid-cut gown with a subtle floral-print overlay, her hair swept back and gold-black earrings adding the finishing sparkle. The silhouette hugs her frame perfectly before flaring out dramatically, giving the whole look a vintage Hollywood edge mixed with contemporary glamour.
What makes Shruti’s black look stand out is the effortless confidence she carries it with. While many actresses lean on bold colours or heavy embellishments to make a style statement, Shruti proves that a well-tailored black gown, minimal jewellery and sharp posing can outshine them all. Her smoky eyes and nude lips keep the focus on the dress and her expressions, making the look feel elevated rather than overdone, a masterclass in monochrome glamour.
On the work front, Shruti has an interesting project on her radar with Aakasamlo Oka Tara, directed by Pavan Sadineni. Backed by Lightbox Media and presented by Swapna Cinema and Geetha Arts, the multilingual film will release in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi, with fans eager to know more about her role in it.
