Malavika Mohanan had a rough patch at the box office with back-to-back disappointments in The Raja Saab and Sardaar 2, both failing to click with audiences despite the buzz around them. The setbacks have put a temporary dent in her recent theatrical run.
But there’s good news on the horizon. Malavika has been roped in for Pocket Novel, the upcoming project helmed by acclaimed director Thiagarajan Kumararaja, known for cult favourites Aaranya Kaandam and Super Deluxe. The film marks his third directorial outing and has already got cinephiles curious.
Meanwhile, Malavika continues to keep her fashion game strong. Dressed in a soft pink embroidered saree with statement jhumkas, she strikes an elegant pose in a sunlit corridor, proving that even amid box office lows, her style quotient remains a consistent high.
