Ramana Is My Good Friend: KCR Welcomes Ex T-TDP Chief

Days after taking primary membership of TRS party, L Ramana has formally joined the party in the presence of TRS boss KCR. Welcoming Ramana, KCR recalled his association with him during the TDP days.

“I have known Ramana for 20 years now. In whatever ideologies he believed in, Ramana worked with commitment and utmost sincerity. Many people might join TRS but when Ramana was coming to be with us, I was very happy,” said KCR.

“In the coming days we shall see a good politician in Ramana and hopefully he will be able to serve people in a better position,” added KCR. As Ramana hails from the handloom community, KCR opined that the state government would try to bring more changes in the handloom industry which would better the entire community and provide good opportunities.

Along with Ramana, his supporters joined the TRS party in large numbers. However KCR did not reveal what plans he had for Ramana in the TRS party. The suspense on Huzurabad by-election continues as TRS is yet to finalise its candidate. There are reports that Ramana might be the last option but KCR is doing all the groundwork for a suitable candidate.
