Ex-MLA Sobha Quits TDP

Already, Telugu Desam Party is losing its steam in the state of Andhra Pradesh with every passing day. The primary opposition party failed badly in the recently held Panchayat, municipal polls, and Tirupati by-elections.

Adding fuel to their already existing problems, TDP got yet another shock now.

Former MLA and prominent leader of the party, Sobha Hymavathi had quit TDP. She said that her works are not being recognized by the high command and alleged that loyal members are not being treated well by the party.

Sobha Hymavathi worked as an MLA of the Srungavarapukota constituency in the past. She also lent her services as the president of the TDP Women’s wing. She was a key leader of TDP in the district of Vizianagaram.

Sobha stated that she is unable to bear the political happenings in TDP and finally decided to leave the party. She formally submitted her resignation letter.

It is being heard that she may join the ruling party YSR Congress very soon. Apparently, she has completed all the groundwork for the same.
