Eatala’s Wife To Contest In Huzurabad?

It is known that Eatala Rajender recently defected TRS and joined in BJP. He even resigned his MLA post while quitting TRS. Consequently, Eatala’s home constituency, Huzurabad is going to by-elections now.

Interestingly enough, it is being speculated that Eatala might not contest in the by-election and instead, field his wife Eatala Jamuna.

Adding more weight to these claims, Jamuna made a series of very interesting comments today. Jamuna hinted she might contest in the by-elections.

“My husband Rajender or I might contest in Huzurabad by-elections. It is the same thing either way. I have always been active in politics and even lead political and electioneering campaigns of my husband in the past,” she said.

Jamuna’s comments all but confirm that Eatala Rajender might not be contesting in Huzurabad by-polls.

This is an interesting development, considering the fact that TRS is putting its best efforts to retain the MLA constituency. With so much at stake, Rajender still seems to opting not to contest in the polls.
