Former AP minister Akhila Priya has lodged a complaint against Bowenpalli police with KPHB Police. This morning Akhila Priya reached the KPHB police station and filed a written complaint claiming that Bowenpalli police stormed her flat on July 6th. As evidence she submitted the CCTV footage of police entering her flat without prior intimation or search warrant.
Apparently Akhila Priya’s husband Bhargava Ram is absconding since the sensational kidnap case involving former hockey player Praveen Rao and two of his brothers, Naveen Rao and Sunil Rao. This incident was reported in January and since then the police were not able to trace Bhargava Ram.
In order to avoid arrest, Bhargava Ram has been trying for anticipatory bail but the police are opposing it. The Bowenpalli police have kept an eagle eye at Akhila Priya’s residence and they received information that Bharagava Ram is communicating with Akhila Priya.
The Bowenpalli police reacted to Akhila Priya’s complaint and issued a clarification. The police added that Bhargava Ram is using fake Covid-19 report papers and is deliberately avoiding the police and only in search of him, they reached Akhila Priya’s residence.
However, as per Akhila Priya, the incident was reported in July first week and she lodged a complaint after a month. What did she wait for all these days?
