Srikakulama MP Ram Mohan Naidu has reacted quite harshly on the arrest of TDP leader Atchen Naidu. Ram Mohan spoke to the media at party office and raised serious objections over the way ACB had detained Atchen Naidu.
“When the ESI scam got exposed, Atchen Naidu was the first to react and come before the media. He said that he will fully cooperate with police or any other officials who wish to investigate him in this matter,” said Ram Mohan.
Further the MP said, “About 200 cops came with ACB. What is the need of so many cops and ACB officials to arrest just one person? Are they ACB people are YSRCP goons? Why a notice was not served before arresting him. There is a procedure to be followed to arrest an MLA and former minister. Nothing was followed.”
“Just because Atchen Naidu is questioning the corruption and inefficiency of AP CM YS Jagan, the state government has targeted him. I seriously condemn this and will take the issue to a bigger venue,” said Ram Mohan.
