Narsapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju made satirical comments on AP CM YS Jagan as the YCP government is initiating ‘Garbage Tax’ and added that Jagan government planning to bring ‘Bathroom Tax’ in the state.
Recalling ‘Bathroom Tax’ RRR said, “A hundred years back, the British imposed ‘Flushing Tax’ in order to note the water usage by people when they use the washroom. As per the metre reading, people were asked to pay tax accordingly. The same tax might be brought in AP as the Jagan government is falling short of financial resources. People with two or more bathrooms at their homes would face trouble due to this Bathroom tax.”
Criticising further, RRR added on one hand the Centre through Swacch Bharat is asking people to build toilets at home and not to litter outside. But the Jagan government’s ‘Bathroom Tax’ sounds completely weird and vague.
Suggesting Jagan on how to save money, RRR said that instead of imposing these ‘Garbage or Bathroom Tax’ Jagan should cut down his visits in chartered planes, helicopters. “Jagan is involved in 150 cases and every time these cases come for hearing, advocates from the Supreme Court land in AP. The YCP government is paying these advocates huge money. Instead the government can make use of eminent Advocate General,” said RRR.
“CM Jagan should focus on productivity instead of bringing up new taxes every now and then. Recently I got to know the registration values have also been increased due to this the property tax has gone up,” added RRR.
As RRR said in case if the Jagan government brings ‘Bathroom Tax’ it would become national news and certainly face flak from its own people.
