Pawan is speaking like a terrorist: Kanna Babu

Countering Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s statements that he would wage a war against the YCP government, minister Kurasala Kanna Babu faulted him for not being a constructive opposition but trying to stoke casteist feelings among the public.

Today, the YCP government understood that Jana Sena is setting the tone for next elections on caste lines, Kanna Babu said.

The minister said Pawan was speaking like a terrorist and asked him if such a behaviour was acceptable in a democracy. Pawan called upon the Kapu, Ontari, Balija communities to get united and walk along with others for a prosperous state. “You are dividing people on caste lines but our Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is ensuring that all the welfare schemes reach the beneficiaries, irrespective of their caste, creed and affiliations to political parties. This shows the difference between you and Jagan,” he said.

Kanna Babu criticised Pawan for coming to Rajamahendravaram saying that he would repair the road but speaking about castes and communities elaborately. “Moreover, he says the Kapu community should lead the war against the YCP government by trying to be together with other communities too,” he pointed out.

Every time, Pawan keeps mentioning about two cases – YS Viveka’s murder and Jagan being attacked by kitchen knife. Viveka’s case is being probed by the CBI and the ‘kodi kathi’ case by the NIA. Both the agencies are under the control of the central government. Try to be update with proper info and if you are so worried about both the cases, go to the BJP with which you have an alliance and ask the leaders at the Centre, he suggested.

“You said that because the TDP is not in a position to question the YCP, you are trying to do it. We believe that the TDP and Jana Sena are still together and would continue to be helping each other during the next elections too.”

“You are trying to create some unrest in the name of communities which can push for a need to hold polls and thus, benefit from it.,” the minister alleged.

Interestingly, the YCP leaders keep insulting and repeating that Pawan is a political leader of not much significance but try to keep criticising and countering his statements.
