Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh was hospitalized on Wednesday evening after he complained of fever and weakness. Manmohan Singh has been admitted to the All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi, by his family members.
The doctors have performed investigations and confirmed that his health condition is currently stable.
Pranav Jha, AICC secretary in charge of communications dropped an update on the former PM’s health.
Taking to Twitter, Jha posted, “There are some unsubstantiated rumours with regards to former PM, Dr Manmohan Singh ji’s health. His condition is stable. He is undergoing routine treatment. We will share any updates as needed. We thank our friends in media for their concern.”
Earlier, the 88-year-old veteran politician from the Congress party was diagnosed with COVID-19. He underwent treatment at the Delhi AIIMS and recovered completely.
Political leaders of all parties took to Twitter to wish Manmohan Singh a speedy recovery.
