Union Minister of State (MOS) for Social Justice & Empowerment Ramdas Athawale, who is in Visakhapatnam today, made some serious political comments on AP CM Jagan and his future political course of action.
Claiming that CM Jagan is his good friend, Minister Ramdas stated that CM Jagan should join NDA. He said Jagan and AP will have a bright future in NDA. He stated that AP will benefit largely in road highways and irrigation projects if YSRCP joins the NDA.
Talking about the privatisation of Visakha Steel Plant (VSP) which is being opposed locally, Minister Ramdas said that the privatisation may affect the SC and STs reservation in the steel plant.
He therefore said that the Union Government has convened a Parliamentary Committee to ensure that SCs and STs reservation won’t get affected even after the privatisation of the steel plant.
Meanwhile, the Union Minister of State commented that the issue of the Three Capitals is entirely in the state government’s purview. He said that it is the state government’s decision to have multiple capitals for the ease of governance.
Ramdas comments on these topics are expected to have its repercussions locally. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party is reportedly upset with BJP and its allies over growing proximity with ruling YSRCP. Ramdas comments are expected to rub salt on the wounds of Janasena.
