Despite lack of response from people on the hunger protest over unemployment in Telangana, YSRTP chief YS Sharmila decided to go ahead with the Paadayatra. In another 24 hours Sharmila would kick start her Paadayatra and the YSRTP has released a few details of this marathon.
Sharmila’s Paadayatra is scheduled for 400 days and she will walk about 4,000 kilometres. About 90 Assembly constituencies and 14 Parliament segments would be covered in this walk feat. Everyday Sharmila would resume her Paadayatra at 8:30 AM and she would take a break at 12:30 Noon. She will hit the road again at 3 PM and would finish the day’s quota at 6 PM.
Also Sharmila will continue her unemployment protest which is scheduled every Tuesday. Wherever she ends her Paadayatra on Monday evenings, the very next day, she will sit down on hunger strike at the same spot.
Like YSR, Sharmila wants to commence the Paadayatra from Chevella constituency and a huge public meeting is set to be held ahead of the Paadayatra. Before that Sharmila will hold special prayers at YSR ghat in Idupulapaya and directly reach Chevella.
A big task ahead for Sharmila to win the trust of Telangana people and she should ‘WALK’ the talk.
