Malla Reddy Donates Rs 1.75 Crore To Yadadri Temple

Whatever TRS Minister Malla Reddy does, it attracts many eyeballs. From his speeches to countering the oppositions, Malla Reddy exhibits different energy levels. Upon the call given by Telangana CM KCR for donations to Yadadri temple for gold plating of temple gopuram, Malla Reddy made his contribution and this invited the attention of not just local media but also the national.

On Thursday Malla Reddy donated Rs 1.75 crore to the temple authority and visuals of Malla Reddy carrying the bundles of cash have gone viral. Malla Reddy carried about Rs 1 crore cash and the rest of the amount, Rs 75 Lakh was donated in the form of cheque on behalf of the Medchal constituency. With Malla Reddy’s donation, three kilos of Gold can be procured.

For the gold plating of Yadadri Temple Gopuram requires about 125 kilos of Gold. CM KCR had already announced to donate over one kilo of Gold on behalf of his entire family while six TRS leaders have come forward to donate one kilo each. The rest of the yellow metal would be purchased from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and for the same, donations would be collected from people across the state.
