The Badvel by-election is a cake walk for the ruling YCP and the party’s candidate Dr. Sudha registered a thumping win. But the official announcement is awaited. After tenth round of counting, YCP’s Sudha was leading with 98,660 votes and there are two rounds to be completed.
YCP secured a total of 1,11,710 Lakh votes while BJP received a mere 21,621 votes and Congress is unlikely to get its deposit. Congress is in third spot with just 6205 votes.
Post completing the remaining two rounds of counting, the officials will declare the result of the by-poll. But the celebrations have begun in YCP camp.
