The YCP is doing the damage control in the episode that took place in AP Assembly but the party leaders have not stopped targeting Chandrababu Naidu. Minister Perni Nani called on the media to issue a clarification and denied that none of his party MLAs commented anything against Chandrababu’s wife Bhuvaneswari.
Also in response to the Nandamuri family’s press meet, Nani appealed to Balakrishna and the rest of the family members not to believe Chandrababu. “As per my knowledge no one took out the name of Bhuvaneswari garu. This is a trap of Chandrababu and he staged a high drama to divert the attention. This is Chandrababu’s level of politics and he stooped to a new low today,” said Nani.
Criticising Chandrababu further Nani added, “NTR was a Godly figure for the poor and needy. But Chandrababu induced venom in them and pictured NTR as a demon.” Questioning to provide evidence on the whole controversy, Nani asked the TDP leaders to come up with any sort of proof. “When Chandrababu’s mic was disconnected, TDP leaders captured the visuals in their phones which is against Assembly norms and published the videos on social media,” added Nani.
On Balakrishna’s comments, Nani replied that Balayya is innocent and believes whatever Chandrababu says. “Balayya and the rest of the Nandamuri family members trusted Chandrababu’s lies but nothing as such happened. I once again clarified that no abusive comment was passed on Bhuvaneswari,” said Nani.
