Telangana CM KCR and Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan, whose ties severed recently over the water sharing of Krishna river and other sticky issues between both the states, have finally met. This took place at a private event – wedding of granddaughter of Telangana speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy. The wedding ceremony took place in Shamshabad of Hyderabad where the CMs of both the states attended and blessed the newly-wed couple.
During the wedding ceremony, the Chief Ministers of both the states sat next to each other and spent some time. Shutterbugs captured those moments on camera. KCR and Jagan seem to have had some quick chat. However, it is not clear whether any political issues and state issues have come up during their chat. Telangana State Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan was among the other dignitaries who attended the grand wedding.
It is a welcome development that both KCR and Jagan are getting close once again as this could resolve the long-standing crucial issues between both the states. Telangana Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, AP Speaker Tammineni Seetharam too joined the duo.
