The Tollywood industry is deeply disappointed with the AP government led by CM Jagan for keeping the ticket prices low and denied a fifth show. A day after this, Megastar Chiranjeevi made an appeal to CM Jagan to reconsider the decision on ticket prices.
Reacting to Chiranjeevi’s request, Minister Perni Nani added that the ticket prices row is being considered by the YCP government. “Our CM Jagan’s intention was not to impose additional burden on people. The same was conveyed to the producers and Tollywood biggies,” said Nani.
The YCP minister further commented that Chiranjeevi’s request came to our notice and we have carried it to CM Jagan. “Currently CM Jagan is occupied with work related to flood situation in several parts of the state. Very soon Jagan will take a decision on it,” stated Perni Nani.
The YCP government appears to be deliberately delaying taking a decision on ticket prices. With big films lined up next month, the state government has to take a call at the earliest else, it would be a huge loss for producers who have shelled out a bomb on their films.
